Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck to reunite soon?

In 1965 young Rod Stewart was invited to former Yardbird's member and guitarist Jeff Beck's new band called The Jeff Beck Group. They released two albums both reaching #15 on the US charts. Rod Stewart's role in the band was mainly singing but he did write some songs also. The group reunited in 1985 to record the song People Get Ready, which was included on Becks' solo-album Flash.

Rod Stewart told lately to Rolling Stone that the duo was closing on a reunion, and that they'd have a lunch together already before Christmas. We will just have to wait and see if the reunion is going to happen, and how long it will hold, or will it break up again due to their personal relationship like it did in 1969...
